This is my very 1st debut in the theatre scene. 24 hours Theatre Project by Masakini Theatre. Time ni aku memang tak tau apa pun pasal theatre, datang kosong and monologue yang sangat childish.haha...Bila ingat balik, rasa kelakar pulak.
Sorry lah, ni cerita yang sangat dah classic basi back in 2009. Kenapa now baru nak tulis? Tah, hari ni rasa rindu sangat2 kat semua cast members and the floor at Istana Budaya! :(

Time aku masuk project ni, it's already the second season, so kiranya ramai returning actors, producers and script writers. Yakni mereka ni sgt2 lah hebat. Dan alkisahnya time diorang nak divide cast members, aku telah dimasukkan ke group that has the most amazing people in it!
From awesome director, award winning scrip writer, awesome fashion producer, experienced actors, tv presenter! Man, I was nobody back then..haha.. But I am glad that I had that opportunity to act in what I would call the best production ever. Benda ni yang paling EPIC pernah jadi dalam hidup aku!

The best thing about this project is that, you have to create and present a piece of theatre in just 24 hours! Ambik kau! Selalu theatre akan ambik masa at least sebulan untuk prepare everything. Alkisahnya my group dapat tongkat as the main prop, so our great script writer Azelea Bakri came out with "Tongkat Ali". Dan aku lah "ALI" itu....

Cerita dia ala2 flashback time kematian "ALI" (and yes, I was dead and was a ghost . :P) and how the family and friends were fighting over his will and wishes. And his last will was the "Tongkat". At the end of the day, "ALI" came back from heaven and sang happily as he sees how his family and friends are finally together. Awesome aites?
Apa yang lagi EPIC is that, we won several BIG AWARDS that night! We won "Best Ensemble (Tongkat Ali) " and also "Best Usage of Prop (Tongkat)" . One of our actress, Bella Rahim (mama) won Best Actress too!

Benda ni lah the opening to my other theatre experiences, since then I've learned a lot. And today, I want to personally thank everyone who has helped me survive my first ordeal in the theatre world. Thank you Low Wei Yan, Mama Bella Rahim, Azelea Bakri, Grace Fei Fei, Fazdli Nordin, Dani, Jay Ibrahim and whoever involved in 24 Hours Theatre Project 2009, Istana Budaya!
p/s: Memories are the reminder of the past, how it has bring meaning to the present life.
